Getting back on my feet.....

Watch your thoughts; they become your words. Watch your words; they become your actions. Watch your actions; they become your habits. Watch your habits; they become your character. Watch your character; it becomes your destiny. ~ Frank Outlaw

Hey everyone. How's everyone doin?

It's been too long since I last posted. I've just been going through some stuff and lost track of a few things, but hopefully I'll be around more often from now on.

Truth is, I've been hurt bad by someone who I never thought was capable of hurting me. Aint that always the way? After 6 months, it all boils down to this.

So many lies!

I gave my heart completely and was willing to change my life, but that just wasn't good enough. Thing is, I can't hate him, no matter how hard I try. I'm so in love, it hurts. I hate myself for letting this happen.

I literally couldn't give any more of myself than what I did. I feel like I've been kicked in the stomach.

He was the reason for this video, as it's one of his favourite songs.

So thanks to all of you for being patient with me, and I've appreciated the 'where are you?' emails. Thanks so much for caring. You guys are the best.

Hope you're all well, and happy new year!

I'll let Cher speak for me here. She hits it on the head!
xxxx

Your singing always makes me cry sweetie..
As for you know who, it's an awful part of life that most people go through..
I had it happen to me too..
You just have to listen to the sad songs cry your eyes out for a while, then pick yourself up, dust yourself off and start all over again..
it's a bit like getting drunk and saying never again but you always do because you're only human..
It's good to have you back Steve, love you with all that I am.. Now can we sing together... x x x

Oh yes, that Cher song, it was in the charts when my bastard (soz) ex ran off with a younger model and left me with two kids. I tell ya Steve, that song got me through, it really did, I sang it at the top of my voice many a time.
Glad you're ok, ish, apart from the not so ok bit

Chalk it up to another learning experience in your o-so-young life, Ste. It may sound cold and logical but it's always better to experience this for yourself than listen to someone's description of the depths of heart-ache. Feel all the grief any loss would cause, let yourself be sad when you have to - I'd suggest playing "his" fave song till it makes you sick, then getting up and out into what's still waiting for you. LIFE! Such potential as I always thought, and you've proven a decent, caring, sharing, loving soul in the world - with talent to boot. We need more! :-}

Aww Stevie... beautiful singing, as always. I really missed your voice. I hope all is well, you know I'm always, always here for you if you need me. Your mom's comment reminded me of that song (which I'm sure is the reference she was making). "Pick Yourself Up, Dust Yourself Off, Start All Over Again." Give it a listen =) [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AGUsRGuZb6k]

I love you!
