After months of speculation, Matt Damon has denied rumours that he is to star as 'Captain James Kirk' in the upcoming Star Trek XI which releases in December, 2008.
I'm kinda dissappointed because I think he'd make a great Captain Kirk, and he says that he'd love to play him someday (in the future).

Ooh, Matt Damon... lol I liiike this entry. I haven't been able to get enough of him since I saw him in Good Will Hunting... and if he was in Star Trek, I'd definitely watch it, even though I'm not a fan, LOL.
